The staff at PeterMark Salon in Delray Beach, FL, aims to make every client look and feel their best to keep them coming back for more. Now the salon hopes to make clients feel even better with a new checkout process from Greenwise Bankcard that makes charitable giving easy and is eco-friendly as well. Through Greenwise's Donate Wise Now feature on the terminal, patrons who pay with a credit or debit card are prompted to make an optional donation to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. The Green Receipt feature replaces a printed receipt with an electronic copy that clients can view online. "Implementing the Greenwise Bankcard processing has increased client retention," says owner Mark Hasche-DeRosa. "People feel better about spending with intention and visit us more often." -- P.H.
